Palletizer

Palletizer

This system is designed for the end-of-line stacking of finished beverage products, automating processes such as product conveying and alignment, layer formation, palletizing, empty pallet supply, and full-stack discharge. It integrates seamlessly with shrink-wrapping and carton-packing machines, replacing manual heavy lifting with neat, stable stacking patterns suitable for warehousing and container shipping.

FAQ

Product Value

01

Replaces strenuous manual palletizing and stabilizes end-of-line output.

02

Ensures neat pallet patterns and controllable stacking heights, reducing losses caused by stack collapses or package scattering.

03

Matches high-speed main packaging lines and integrates with film-wrapping and carton-packing machines to achieve unmanned end-of-line operations.

04

Stores palletizing parameters for rapid switching between specifications; compatible with cartons, film-wrapped packs on half-pallets, trayless PE film packs, etc .

Applicability boundaries

详情2-图标

Products

Uniformly shaped finished packages such as cartons, semi-pallet film-wrapped packs, and standard PE film-wrapped packs.

Group 130

Application

End-of-line continuous packaging for beverages, food, and household/personal care products; high-volume, stable production; palletized warehousing and container shipping.

Working Principle

Finished bag conveying and shaping → Layering, grouping, and positioning → Bag pushing / full-layer arrangement via gripper → Lowering and stacking onto the pallet → Layer-by-layer accumulation to the set stack height; automatic pallet discharge upon completion.

Core components

1

Finished product infeed conveyor and shaping/centering mechanism

Corrects alignment and arranges products to ensure a neat stack pattern for each layer.

2

Layer formation table and side-push positioning module

Arranges products to form a single-layer stack pattern.

3

Main lifting unit and full-layer lowering mechanism

Core execution unit that performs the layer-by-layer stacking process.

5

PLC + HMI servo control system

Manages stack pattern recipe storage, sequence coordination, and fault alarms.

Optional

01

Anti-compression buffering and stack-leveling mechanism: reinforces each layer and minimizes stack collapse.

02

Robotic palletizing unit (compatible with flexible multi-SKU, mixed-package, and irregular-shaped package handling).

03

Integrated automatic pallet stretch-wrapping machine (automatically wraps and reinforces the full stack to prevent load collapse during maritime transport).

Changeover/Cleaning/Maintenance

  • Changeover

Perform safety lockout; adjust conveyor guides, grouping stops, and stack-drop limiters; load the pallet pattern recipe via the HMI and configure parameters such as items per layer, number of layers, stack height, and drop speed; conduct a trial run to verify stack alignment and check for crushed packs or misalignment; save the parameters.

  • Maintenance

Daily: Inspect safety light curtains, conveyor tension, and limit sensors. Weekly: Lubricate lifting guide rails, pusher rails, and chains; check buffer components for wear.

Monthly: Tighten drive components; clean dust from electrical controls; verify positioning accuracy.

Stocking: Maintain an inventory of wear parts such as photoelectric sensors, seals, and rubber buffers.

How do I choose between a gantry-style palletizer and a robotic palletizer?

High volume, stable/uniform package types, and budget-conscious needs → Gantry-style layer palletizer; frequent SKU changes, mixed production (cartons + film-wrapped packs), or irregular package shapes → Robotic palletizer.

Can it be integrated with cartoners, PE film wrappers, and semi-automatic stretch wrappers?

It comes standard with I/O signals for line integration, allowing it to connect to the entire end-of-line packaging system; it features automatic interlocking (standby mode) for missing or jammed packs to protect the main production line.

How long does it take to switch specifications or pallet patterns?

Changing only the pallet pattern for the same package type: 8–15 minutes; changing package dimensions and adjusting grouping tooling: 20–40 minutes.

Can it palletize very heavy, fully loaded cartons?

Yes; however, the weight per package and stacking height requirements must be provided in advance so that the frame, gripper, and drive system can be reinforced accordingly.
